Streamlining Access: Single Sign-On Solutions for PostgreSQL

The presentation will explore various options for implementing single sign-on (SSO) with PostgreSQL, focusing on the following approaches:

  • Active Directory Kerberos-based authentication: This method is often the most convenient and secure solution for accessing PostgreSQL in an enterprise environment.
  • LDAP-based authentication: For scenarios where Kerberos is not viable, LDAP-over-TLS provides an alternative.

The session will also include live demonstrations showcasing the integration of Linux servers running PostgreSQL with Active Directory.
