PMI in Sweden
In Sweden, we have operated since January 1998 and the operation is run entirely by volunteers. 

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the organization's membership is approximately 280,000 in more than 14,700 clubs in 144 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders. 

Malmö Toastmasters is one of the clubs in Toastmasters International and was founded in 2010. They meet every second week here at Foo café!

Speaker:

Emelie Thorén - is a leadership enthusiast with a passion for telling good stories and expanding peoples perspectives. She has represented Toastmasters@Ideon in Toastmaster’s International Speech Contest in the categories Evaluations, Table Topics and International Speech where she placed first in all three categories in the Area contest. She has also been a reoccurring evaluator and tutor in Eslövs talarskola deep diving in the topic of enhancing language use and speech structure.

Perina Torbarina - is a project coordinator in a Danish gaming company, IO Interactive, and a PMI Sweden-Young Professionals volunteer. Passionate about (almost) all project management topics and getting people together.
