We’ll discuss how platform instability and poor developer experience can silently drain creativity, while a well-designed ecosystem can improve innovation across teams.

Speaker:

Fredrik van Bruggen - Platform Engineer at Precise Biometrics and Co-organizer of DevOps Skåne/Malmö. In his 12 years of experience working with different type of projects, customers and development teams Fredrik's main focus area has been what we in recent years call platform engineering. He believes the working environment becomes enjoyable as a developer the less time you spend on error prone and manual, repetitive tasks. The last three years he worked at Precise Biometrics to build an internal platform for the R and D department, connecting on-premises GPU hardware into a resource on-demand system that is used to build the companies products for customers on a global scale.
