Are you a machine learning practitioner looking to share, learn, and discuss with your peers, or simply just curious to learn what this space has to offer?
If so, we'd like to welcome you to the very first session of the Stockholm Machine Learning Club. The event will be kindly hosted by Foo Cafe and follow a seminar-style study group format. For this first event, Hans Melo will introduce the article Deep Learning by Yann LeCun, Yoshua Bengio, and Geoffry Hinton.
Hans Melo is a machine learning practitioner and researcher with over 10 years of experience in data science. After completing his PhD in reinforcement learning from the University of Toronto, he has worked as a deep learning engineer in computer vision, and most recently as a computer scientist developing applications in quantum machine learning.

The Stockholm Machine Learning Club is a platform to share and grow knowledge and expertise in machine learning and AI in general. The goal is to bring people together to learn, discuss, hack, and most importantly have fun with machine learning. We aim to host weekly or biweekly study groups in a seminar/hackathon fashion to discuss and replicate research articles and other projects on a wide range of topics including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and quantum machine learning. The club is open to everyone regardless of level of expertise, however, as we do go into some depth, some programming ability and familiarity with core ML concepts are recommended.
