Title: Make authenticated calls to AWS-Lambdas via API Gateway from a static web app
Abstract: What is serverless and what are the benefits? What are the important pieces that will be involved when working with serverless in AWS? Tooling for devs that work with serverless technology. Demo.
About the Speaker: Dev with too many side projects!
Talk 2 by Anders Lundström
Title: From monolith to micro frontends
Abstract: This talk is about why you should move from building frontend monoliths to building micro frontends. The benefit of this architecture is that it enables you to break down your application into its features and then have each feature, from backed to frontend, owned by different teams. Every feature can then be developed, tested and deployed independently from other features.
Companies like Spotify, Klarna, Zalando and Scania are using this architecture to build their applications and we will talk about different approaches
to achieve this setup.
Talk 3 by Pedro Dias
Title: Detecting Water Leakages – an IoT Story from Trondheim.
Abstract: In this talk, Pedro goes through an end-to-end IoT scenario designed to detect and alert about water leakages in municipal water conduits. You will hear about the devices, how they were made to transmit telemetry securely to Azure IoT Hub, and how we leveraged the power of Machine Learning in Azure to detect water leakages. This behind-the-scenes talk will provide you with insight into how similar solutions can help YOU deliver the next project!
About the speaker:Pedro is a passionate technologist with a strong and never ending sense of curiosity. He loves to share his findings with colleagues and friends, and is always expanding his horizon. With a background in software development, architecture and testing, he continuously seeks out the balance between delivery of solid, working systems and proper, high-end workmanship, never compromising quality for delivery. In is current role as a principal technology evangelist, he works together with some of Microsoft’s partners to ensure a successful implementation of the projects they are working on.
