This event is the first of a serie of 3 events about AWS
Probably this is not for you, but if you are open-minded enough I will tell you a story of change. Over the last two years, I moved away from Frontend development, sided DevOps and ended up in Cloud Architecture in AWS. With the support of a good pizza, we'll go through the cornerstones and struggles of this experience. And in the end, we'll also dive into AWS offering from an architectural point of you. You will go home with a good understanding why should your organization move to the Cloud and what are the challenges ahead. In the next two events, we'll go hands-on and run a real project on AWS.
Speaker: Marco Pegoraro
Hi, I'm Marco. I am Italian and like to learn new stuff. My experience with AWS has begun one year ago, helping Sony to bring their new developer portal to life. I had a great mentor who introduced me to the struggles of Cloud Architecture and high availability. Today I run a couple of AWS projects for big and small customers as well for my startup where we use the Cloud to run a big data application. I'm deep into the learning process and I'm happy with what I can do so far.
