Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. AI also applies to any machine that performs commands associated with a human mind such as learning and problem-solving.

At this LeanTribe themed - "AI in business" - we will talk about AI within the IT-business, which is a concept that determines the future. AI has not only transformed traditional methods of computing, but it has also gone into many industries, and significantly transformed them. As the world becomes more digitized and with it, all industries become much smarter. IT companies now have to keep up pace with exploding process complexity and accelerating innovations.

The ideal purpose of artificial intelligence is to rationalize and take actions that have the best chance of achieving a specific goal. Data mining is a process used by companies to turn raw data into useful information. By using software to look for patterns in large batches of data, businesses can learn more about their customers to develop more effective marketing strategies, increase sales and decrease costs.

Do you want to share and discuss digital subjects with professionals in the IT world? Welcome to our online LeanTribe about AI in business! An exciting event where we share knowledge and learn about artificial intelligence.

Presentations:

Hans Forsberg, Senior expert AI & Robotics

Wild birds trade litter for food!

Hans will talk about his hobby project that has exploded on social media, a wending machine where birds trade litter for food, and how he applies machine-learning as an autonomous litter-classifier for this project.

Viktor Nordmark - Founder and CMO of AI-startup Hubert

AI-driven screening interviews for high-volume applications

AI-driven screening interviews for high-volume applications. Viktor will go through how forward-thinking organizations are automating the initial screening process and in turn save time, money and reduce bias.

Senka Krivic - Research Associate at King’s College London

What is Explainable Artificial Intelligence?

The effectiveness of AI algorithms has led to their success and the vast possibility of applications. However, their usage limitation is the machine’s current inability to explain their decisions and actions to human users. Explainable AI is an emerging field that aims to provide methods and processes that allow human users to comprehend and trust their outcome.

Jesper Bleeke - Hyper Island

AI and humans in future manufacturing

The current manufacturing revolution is about connecting all resources in order to work smarter. Industrial Internet of Things, Digital Twins, AI, AR/VR/MR. But it is easy to get caught up with technology and forget about the humans. All resources connected of course includes human resources. Industry 4.0 needs human centered design to succeed.

Speaker:

Hans Forsberg - has a lifelong passion for electronics, robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Today, as an senior expert he plays a key role in the fast growing AI-section at AFRY AB. Hans is dedicated to machine-learning applied in real-world situations and how to embed this amazing technology in new as well as existing products.

Viktor Nordmark - is the founder and CMO of the rapidly growing AI-startup Hubert. He is passionate about explosive business growth, AI, inbound marketing, and SEO. http://hubert.ai

Senka Krivic - is a Research Associate at King’s College London. She received bachelor's and master's degrees in Control and Electronics at the University of Sarajevo and PhD degree in Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck. Senka's research covers topics at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, planning and explainable AI with the main focus on enabling a robust operation of autonomous systems in real-world environments under uncertainty and in interaction with humans. She has several publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences, such as Autonomous Robots, JAIR, IJCAI, IROS, CASE, ESANN, etc. https://senka2112.github.io/senka.krivic/
