We will begin with meet and greet at 17.30. The presentation starts at 17.45. There will be a break at 18.30-ish with something to eat and drink.

At Qlik we strongly believe that the key to our success is a strong company culture.

It has taken us through extreme growth and architectural crisis as well as making our daily work more efficient. Our culture is built on the foundation of strong values and a shared vision.

In this session we will focus on how R&D live the culture and use the values. We will tell you how we do things like QlikAcademy, R&D Science fair, Summits and Guilds. We will tell you how agile fits with our culture and why an agile environment is crucial for R&D to succeed. We will also deep dive into The Farm, our way of scaling agile. We will talk about how we create alignment, shared vision and focus on what really matters in a large organisation.

You will leave with an understanding why a strong culture matters and how values can build a culture that creates market leading software in an agile working environment.

Speakers

Jakob Wolman is an agile coach, Gamestorming facilitator and speaker. He coach individuals, teams and organizations to achieve continuous improvement and small miracles. His goal is to inspire, challenge and support. To sharpen and find new tools Jakob often asks for observations and reflections from his peers.

Jakob gets his challenges at Qlik in Sweden. Here he has an environment that is perfect as testing ground for new ideas.

Jakob is a passionate long distance runner who doesn’t believe in conventional running shoes.

With almost 15 years in the software development business Åsa Bill has experienced products and projects of all size and forms. She has seen her share of successes and failures and reached an insight: Only people that are happy with what they do will reach their full potential. Åsa is passionate in finding the balance between delivering to customers and nurturing innovation and creativity. She believes this is true both for products and ways of working.

Åsa gets to use her insight on a daily basis in her current position at Qlik – being challenged with scaling agile in a large organization.
