Intro to Graph DB

A graph database is a database where the data is divided into nodes and edges, where the edges describes the relationship between the nodes. This makes it easier to model and query complex hierarchical structures of data, that can be hard to model in a traditional relational database. Tobias Lindaaker has worked at Neo Technologies for almost 10 years, and will give us an introduction to Graph Databases and Neo4j.

Speaker: Tobias Lindaaker, Neo Technology

Intro to Clojure

Clojure is a functional language and a dialect of Lisp, that runs on the JVM. The language encourages immutability and immutable data structures, and it facilitate developing more robust programs, especially multi-threaded ones. Kristoffer Skjutare will give us an introduction to this language.
