Main topics for the evening are:
- IT decision makers top challenges 2017
- Manage disruption while keeping the lights on
- What can the Enterprise Architecture practise bring to the table?
In the light of digital transformation, when IT not only supports and makes the business more efficient, but is also the driver and enabler for major changes in the business models, a CIO (Chief Information Officer) faces new challenges on top of the traditional duties. Several business opportunities are completely relying on IT solutions developed in a fast pace to enter new market segments or to keep up with the competition - the spotlight is on the CIO to make the difference.
At the same time, many organisations have the legacy system landscape and technology running at too high a cost, which is expected to be reduced in parallel with the introduction of new IT solutions that caters for larger business disruptions we have never seen before with completely new customer journeys, new revenue streams and new digitalised services that are not to be found in the dictionary yet. Big challenges indeed.
We will talk about the challenges per se and specifically how enterprise architecture can help the CIO and the rest of the organisation to control costs, enable innovation and limit the technological debt. What are the main roles of the enterprise architecture practice in 2017 and beyond?
We are very happy to have one of the most well-known enterprise architecture thinkers, writers and doers on video-link from the UK: Tom Graves from Tetradian Consulting. We will also have the CIO of Alfa Laval, Agnetha Mattisson as well as the Chief Transformation Officer of CDON.COM, Mattias Nordgren, on location, so you can expect a very interesting evening about the CIO and EA roles – high and low.
The talk will be moderately moderated by Johan Svensson, Head of Enterprise Architecture at Ikano Bank.
The audience may be board members, CxOs, business developers, architects of all sorts, consultants, etc.
Come, listen, ask questions, mingle and build your network!
