This is a special event for organizers of interest and user groups.
Whether you are a new community leader or have many years experience, join this workshop about how to make your Foo Café events engaging for your audience.
This is a great opportunity to learn more if you have not yet organized an event with us, but would like some help getting started.
Every event you host is a learning moment. Creating a seminar is different from a workshops, hackathon, or pitch night. We ask all of you to share your experiences, learn from each other, and help other communities thrive.
17.30-17.45 – Meet and Greet
17.45-18.30 – Experience from 1.300 events
We go through lessons learned from our 1,300 events. Tips and tricks on how to prepare, organise and put on events where people learn from each other and meet new friends/colleagues/partners.
Speaker: Michael Tiberg, founder of Foo Café.
18.30-19.00 – Break with something lighter to eat and drink
19.00-20.00 – Workshop - Signup == showup ?
Some meet-up groups have a problem with people signing up but not showing up. This workshop goal is to find motivations for people to show up if they signed up and to sign up if they plan to show up. We will pick your brains and build on each others experience.
Workshop leader: Ester Ytterbrink is a software developer with a passion for post-its and knowledge sharing.
